Prop Firm Challenge Guides
How prop firm evaluations work, how to pass them, and which challenge type suits the way you trade.
What a prop firm challenge is
A prop firm challenge, or evaluation, is a trading test on a simulated account. You hit a profit target without breaking a daily or maximum loss limit, and in return you get a simulated funded account that pays a share of your gains.
Choosing the right challenge
Most firms offer three routes. A Two Step challenge has two profit targets and the most drawdown room. A One Step challenge has a single target and tighter limits. An Instant account skips the evaluation entirely. The guides below explain the trade-offs, and you can compare all three side by side.
