Clarity Traders has no minimum trading days and no time limit to pass. Here's how it works, what applies once you're funded, and how to use it without extra risk.

Many prop firms make you trade a minimum number of days before you can pass, even if you hit the profit target on day one. Clarity Traders doesn't. There's no minimum number of trading days and no time limit to pass a One Step or Two Step evaluation. This guide explains how that works, what still applies once you're funded, and how to use it without taking on extra risk.

Key takeaways

  • No minimum trading days to pass any Clarity evaluation, and no time limit.
  • Hit the target without breaking a loss limit and you move to a funded account.
  • Funded accounts need at least 7 trading days before a payout.
  • Instant accounts skip the evaluation entirely.

What "minimum trading days" means

A minimum trading days rule says you must place trades on a set number of separate days before a phase counts as passed. If you reach the target faster, you keep trading until you've met the day count, and every extra day is another chance to hit a loss limit. Some firms count any day with a trade; others only count days where you made a minimum profit.

How it works at Clarity Traders

On Clarity's One Step and Two Step evaluations there's no day count at all. You pass as soon as you reach the profit target, as long as you haven't broken a loss limit along the way:

  • One Step: one 10% target, with a 4% daily and 6% max loss limit.
  • Two Step: 8%, then 5%, with a 5% daily and 8% max loss limit.

There's no time limit either, so you can also take as long as you need. The only activity rule is that you place at least one trade every 60 days to keep the account active.

What still applies once you're funded

Once you're on a funded account, you need at least 7 trading days before your first payout. Payouts are available every 14 days, or weekly with the Express Payouts add-on, and each request goes through the consistency rule: no single day can make up more than 20% of the payout on One Step and Two Step. See how payouts work.

Should you try to pass in one day?

Being allowed to pass fast isn't a reason to trade bigger. A 10% target in one session usually means oversized positions, and the daily loss limit is measured against your starting account size, so one bad trade can end the attempt. The advantage of no minimum days is that you aren't forced to keep trading once you've hit the target, not that you should rush. Use the drawdown calculator to size trades against your limits.

Want to skip the evaluation altogether?

Instant accounts start funded from day one, with a 3% daily and 5% max loss limit. You still need 7 trading days before your first payout.

Frequently asked questions

Is there really no minimum number of trading days?

To pass a One Step or Two Step evaluation, no. Funded accounts, including Instant accounts, need at least 7 trading days before a payout.

Is there a time limit to pass?

No. Just place at least one trade every 60 days to keep the account active.

Can I pass a Two Step evaluation in two days?

Yes. If you reach 8% in phase one and 5% in phase two without breaking a loss limit, you pass, however few days it takes.
