Calculadora de valor del pip

Descubre cuánto vale un pip en dólares en pares mayores, con yen y cruces, para cualquier tamaño de lote.

What Is One Pip Worth?

Pick your pair and lot size. For pairs not quoted in US dollars, add the current price so we can convert.

1 is a standard lot (100,000 units), 0.1 a mini lot and 0.01 a micro lot.
Value of 1 pip
Profit or loss on that move
Pip values on pairs not quoted in US dollars shift slightly as prices move. Your platform shows the exact figure.

How Pip Value Works

What a pip is

For most pairs a pip is the fourth decimal place (0.0001). For yen pairs it's the second (0.01). On a standard lot, a pip on any pair quoted in US dollars is worth $10.

Why it matters on a funded account

Your loss limits are in dollars. Knowing what a pip is worth tells you how far a stop can sit before one trade eats into today's room. Use the result in the position size calculator.

Pip Value Questions

Are gold, indices and crypto worked out the same way?

No. Contract sizes differ by instrument, so check the point or pip value in your platform's symbol details before you size a trade.

What is a lot?

A standard lot is 100,000 units of the first currency in the pair. A mini lot is 0.1 of that and a micro lot is 0.01.

Why does the yen pair value change?

A yen pair's pip is worth a fixed amount of yen. Converted to dollars, it moves a little with the USD/JPY price.
